Lead Web Designer & Creative Direction

Jack Spade, 2012-2013

I was asked by Jack Spade to redesign their website, including the mobile and Surplus Sale sites. I provided creative direction, UX/UI and production design, and served as the primary liaison between the developers, e-commerce, and creative teams during the redesign and replatforming process. In addition to the visual redesign, I focused on rethinking the shopping and checkout experience. I also worked with the in-house creative team to develop new product image and creative guidelines and to flesh out the brand's blog, and I was the primary tester during user acceptance testing, soft launch, and post-launch.

Web Design

Point Five Design, 2012

I worked with the great team at Point Five Design to redesign the Harper’s Magazine website. I assisted with the overall visual design and provided UX/UI and production design for the second-oldest continually published monthly magazine in the U.S. and its 100+ year old archive.

Mobile Design

Office of Jeff, 2012

I had the amazing opportunity to work with Office of Jeff on a series of exhibition guide apps for the 2012 Whitney Biennial and several exhibitions at The Guggenheim. I collaborated on wireframing, information architecture, and overall visual design, and provided UX/UI and production design for the apps.

Publication Design & Creative Direction

Rhode Island School of Design, 2010-2011

I redesigned the lookbook of the Division of Architecture and Design at RISD, featuring the work of students, studio courses, and alumni. I provided creative direction, layout design, edited images and text, and managed interns and a staffing transition.

Communications Manager

OCA, 2007-2008

I provided creative direction for a national civil rights organization. I oversaw a national rebranding campaign, and developed and executed internal and external communications strategies for over 30 member chapters nationwide. I provided art direction, design, and production of all creative materials, including redesigning and producing the organization's semi-annual magazine. I was also responsible for editorial direction and editing content for the magazine.
